Empowering Community College Students to Help Victims of Human Trafficking
The Community College National Center for Community Engagement (CCNCCE) in collaboration with Glendale Community College and Mesa Community College, colleges of the Maricopa County Community College District, will address human trafficking, a crime affecting our most vulnerable populations – children. The project will serve as a model for educators and business worldwide.
Students will educate vulnerable populations, teachers, and medical professionals on the prevention of human trafficking. Dissemination will be conducted on lessons learned of this crime that has no borders or boundaries.
